INSTALLATION:
1. Locate and remove the four 12mm bolts that affix the factory skidplate to the front and secondary cross
members. Pivot the factory skidplate off the two forward ‘hooks’ and temporarily set aside.
2. Looking at the front cross member of the FJ you
should now see two 14mm bolts. Remove these
two bolts and set aside. (Fig. 1)
3. Set the Warrior skidplate into place with the
lower two tabs through the narrow sheet metal
structure where you accessed the 14mm bolts.
The five holes along the top edge of the skid
plate should also line up with the lower holes in
the Warrior FJC front bumper. Loosely thread
the 5/16” screws with the lock washers and nuts
on the inside through the bumper and top edge
of the skid plate and the factory 14mm bolts
through the skidplate lower tabs.
Note: On some early versions of the 3520-
3530 Warrior front bumper there may be
some clearance issues with the two
outermost mounting holes and the bumpers’ inner winch plate support structure. Utilizing a cut-off tool to
trim the two outermost 5/16” screws shorter will alleviate this issue.
4. Once the skidplate has been positioned and all bolts have been threaded, tighten all hardware. Take the factory
skidplate and reinstall onto the front and secondary cross members with the factory 12mm bolts.
5. Double check fitment and that all hardware is tight. The installation of your 3516 FJC Warrior Front Bumper
Skidplate is now complete.
